A. The SE 879 was designed to provide home HD/FM stereo reception.
RV's have been known to utilize the SE 879 antenna with great results.

Q. I live in an area where lightning storms are a frequent
occurance. What precautions should I take?

A. There is not a 100% effective course of action to guard
against lightning strike. Lightning is very unpredictable and even
in areas who would least expect lighning, have suffered from its
effects. Preventitive measures you can take would be to ground your
antenna and disconnect your antenna from your tuner whenever storms
are expected.

Q. Can I hook up my tuner without running any wires to my
antenna?

A. There is no provisions as of now to hook up a tuner without
running any wires to the SE 879 antenna.

Q. Can I hook up multiple tuners to my SE 879 antenna?
|
A. Yes, the number of tuners you can hook up depends on
how high the signal level, how much amplification and how long the
coax cable is. See application notes under resources.
